We caught up with filmmaker Krista Miranda, the writer, director, and producer behind “Something, Something, Ectomy, Something”, and let me tell you, this is one filmmaker you’re going to want to keep an eye on!

The film took home the award for BEST Microfilm at this year’s (2026) Indie Gathering International Film Festival, and Krista joined us to talk about bringing this wonderful project to life, the challenges of making a micro film, and everything that went into getting it across the finish line.
